Asbestos Testing

Munro Home Inspections is a certified AHERA (Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act) specialist (certification # CABI-13-016).

An asbestos survey and risk assessment, is required by law on all homes built prior to 1995 that require a renovation of any type prior to applying for a building or renovating permit.

Asbestos re-mediation and removal by a qualified contractor is required to protect the occupants or future occupants of the home or building and the contractors completing the work.
